My name is Angelique, I am from Africa.

This is my fourth year being in America.

I just graduated from Evanston Township High School and next year I plan to attend Oakton Community College and then transfer to four year university.

I hope to study law and political science.

More importantly, I want to have an opportunity to help children whose voices have been silenced.

I feel that this world does not protect children enough, especially those living in poverty.
