Alison K. is 22 years old and lives in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. (Above is a picture of Sarajevo Alison shot.) She works at an investigative journalism center there. She has previously interned at newspapers in Pennsylvania and Texas.

Her interests include writing, movies, reading and politics. She is a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where she studied journalism and Eastern European studies.
