What I Wish You Knew...Teens' Advice to parents and other adults

Interfaith Youth Core Committee

Jean Meadows is a member of the Interfaith Youth Core Committee which works to build relationships and communication between students of different faiths through dialogue and community service. This is a collaborative project between Chicagoland Jewish High School, Loyola Academy, and the Universalist School.
Jean has spent her teaching career working with students as a Learning Specialist, teaching and counseling students at Highland Park High School and Chicagoland Jewish High School.
Jean believes strongly that we need to listen to what our teenagers and young adults say to us; and that, through dialogue, we can challenge andexpand our ideas and beliefs to build a more caring, understanding and responsive community.
Jean has had the privilege to participate in a writing contest in the Chicago area for several years that encouraged young adults to share their thoughts and concerns and begin an important dialogue.
