Kimberly Weisensee
Kimberly Weisensee is a graduate student at the Medill School of Journalism getting her MSJ in Magazine journalism. In addition to school, she is a freelance media consultant helping small businesses and publications utilize technologies to connect with their audience.
She graduated from Medill with a bachelor's degree in journalism and has been published in a variety of Chicago land publications including Skyline, Chicagomag.com and the Northwestern Alumni Magazine. She has interned at Self magazine in New York and has experience in print, broadcast and online media. During college, she was editor-in-chief of the campus feminist magazine and focuses her work—then and now—on young adults' struggles and wellbeing. With an older sister and two younger brothers, she grew up in a active family and definitely has seen and experienced the struggles of teenage-hood firsthand.
When she was 10-years-old she started keeping her own list of “things I won’t do to my kids when I’m a mom.” It’s a natural fit helping with What I Wish You Knew.
