Mark Parr, LCSW

Mark Parr has more than 25 years experience in the assessment and treatment of sexually and physically abused children in both residential and community settings.  

Mark has been a member of the Cook County Children's Advocacy Advisory Board and the Cook County Sex Crimes Advisory Board and served as President of Children's Advocacy Centers of Illinois from 2004-2006.   Mark worked on the task force that revised the Cook County Protocol for Sexual Abuse Investigations in 1996.  

Prior to joining the Children's Advocacy Center in 1998, Mark worked with the Victim Sensitive Intervention Program-Hospital Partnership, a hospital-based children's advocacy center program in Chicago, Illinois.   As an expert child interviewer at La Rabida Children's Hospital and Columbus Hospital, Mark conducted more than 2,000 interviews with sexually abused children.
