Tamar Westphal

Student, Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA

Tamar is currently a student at Mount Holyoke College, where she is studying acting, vocal performance, and dance. Her goal is to perform professionally as an actress in straight plays and musical theatre. She is also very involved in political activism, especially through the National Organization for Women, the Human Rights Campaign, and various political leadership campaigns. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry, reading, listening to music, dancing, and chilling out with her friends and family.

Tamar is excited to be a part of the "What I Wish You Knew" team; she is continually amazed and humbled by the stories other young people have to share. She thinks www.whatiwishyouknew.com gives young people a great opportunity to express their feelings and communicate their views to both their peers and older generations.
